International Data Week 2023 (IDW 2023) is pleased to welcome attendees in the beautiful Salzburg, Austria between 23-26 October 2023. Salzburg is located directly on the border with the Free State of Bavaria and is very easy to reach within Austria. IDW 2023 venue
The Salzburg Congress will open its doors to greet IDW 2023 participants. The modern conference venue is located in the heart of the Mozart city of Salzburg. It provides an unexpected view across to the roofs of the old town of Salzburg where you can see Mirabell Palace with its world-famous garden, and the Mönchsberg with the Museum of Modern Art. Salzburg’s W. A. Mozart Airport is located just four kilometers from the city center, a fifteen-minute ride by taxi or public transport. Salzburg Congress can be reached directly from the airport by bus line 2.

The Salzburg train station is a five-minute walk from the Salzburg Congress. The city centre is a 15-minute walk away. From most cities in the region you can also take the regional train or S-Bahn to Salzburg. The conference centre can be reached from the train station by lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 25 and 840.

Salzburg is the centre of the European motorway network: the A1 Vienna-Salzburg, the A8 Munich-Salzburg and the A10 Villach-Salzburg converge in Salzburg. Please remember to buy a vignette for Austrian motorways when you drive to Salzburg. Parking is possible in the immediate vicinity of the Salzburg Congress.
